"Skirt steak in the burrito wasn’t fresh and had a funky aftertaste. The burrito itself was a bit plain tasting as well.Staff was very good and friendly.Black skull imagery all over the walls even ceilings and black walls in general is a bit much for family restaurant in Scarsdale. I think brightening the place up and making it more classic Mexican would help. Music wasn’t the best and Harry Styles “As it was” was replaying every 30 minutes for some reason ??‍?‍"

"These are the best tacos in South Florida. Every one I’ve had is great, but the coconut chicken curry is literally to die for! The nachos were great as well and the soup looks amazing. "This was our first visit on Valentine's Day. We had such a good time. The ambience was perfect and the food delicious! The drinks were also delicious, but a larger glass is preferred for a Mojito and Margarita. The drinks came in small glasses. Service was just a little slow, which is expected for a special occasion, but our waitress was helpful, friendly and professional. We will definitely return as this is now one of our favorite spots!"

"This is my second time while in the city coming here. This time, I brought a group of friends while traveling since my first experience was absolutely great. Let me mention this, the first visit was precovid and we were easily accommodated on the patio for a group of 18. One of the best experiences I?ve had with a large party. This time, I had a group of 8, and our server was great! Some things we had to ask another for our differently, but easily accommodated. There was not a person in our party that didn?t like their meal. We came for brunch and as Mexican brunch was unique and different to me, I was greatly intrigued and pleased! The band performance was wonderful! While it was appropriate for all, it was also genre and culture inclusive with the wide selection of songs! Try the frozen mimosa! It was a HIT! Each of us ordered one. They didn?t skimp on the spirit, but still had this consistency to make it frozen. Not sure how they did it, but I?ve never had one nor seen that idea elsewhere and loved it. We?d definitely return!"

"ANNEX We had House Margarita and design Dos xx plus toro loco burrito. With Steak. Rice and beans were inside. Good, but it was better here. We also had Queso for the chips. Wife had fajita burrito blend with beef and chicken. She enjoyed it. She asked for coal beans and was fried again. The waitress was very nice and brought a bowl with the Charo beans. Very good visit. Photos of our food included 07.02.2022 We like this place in the Legions area. We usually visit when we have a KC monarchs games. Today we both ordered the fajitas mix burrito. It was covered in Queso cheese. It also came with rice and choice of black beans, fried beans or Churro beans. The Burrito had fajita vanillas, beef, chicken and shrimp. everything was very delicious. Sometimes when you get a burrito with shrimps in it, they use these tiny salad shrimps. We found about 6 full (size 30-40) shrimps (baked and galvanized). We also ordered a picture of Texas margarita so divided between two. This corresponds in each case to about 4 full glasses. We had to ask for lime. We were very happy with the Margaritas and Burritos. We both have half of our burritos at home for even more pleasure in another day."

"I usually do not complain or leave reviews, but I was disappointed with my experience at this taqueria. I have been a customer at this establishment for many years, but on my last visit, I found the cashier to be impatient and one of the cooks to be rude. To make matters worse, when I got home and opened my nacho order, I discovered that someone had mistakenly put the order receipt on top of my food. I called the next day to speak with the manager or owner about my experience, but was told that they come in late and no specific time was given. Overall, I will not be ordering food from this place again."

"This was a wonderful experience. The paella is the best and most authentique outside of Spain. The Ceasar salad is a must as it is the original recipe. The service was great. I noticed a lot of people coming and going knew each other, meaning lots of returning locals. That is always a good sign. We will be back very soon."

"The restaurant was essentially empty (didn't even ask for our open table reservation) yet it took 15 minutes for our server to greet us and then another 35 before the food came out. Food was mediocre and the chef refused to serve my date the Mahi tacos that she wanted of off the bar menu since we were sitting in the dining room. We won't be back."

"We have been to the Dundee location a few times and my work has gotten take out from this location (the first time I ever had it) Still one of my favorite Mexican restaurants around. This was the first time we have been to the Palatine location. it doesn't look like much on the outside or inside but the food is great. Service was quick and attentive, it was later on a week night and there was only a few other tables filled. I love their black beans, I think they are the best I have ever had and the cilantro rice is excellent as well. Since we have noit been in a long time I didn't deviate from things I had and love. The 3 taco platter with One Wild Mushroom, Queso Fresco and Relleno Taco. All were just so good, the Queso Fresco with the carnalized cheese alvacado and elote is just a stunning taco. I really love this place and this location is as good as the Dundee location. Dont pass on it"

"The food is delicious but we will never eat there again. This was one of our favorite restaurants. But recently we kept trying and trying and every time we go the service is horrible. The waitress who spoke English as a second language, was rude to a customer when they spoke a different language primarily and asked questions about something they didn’t understand. Very hypocritical. Then when we asked if she would take a picture of us since we were celebrating she had an attitude but did it. My daughter also has a dairy allergy. When we ordered for pick up and wrote on the order in all caps DAIRY ALLERGY, please no cheese, sour cream, or butter. Everything had cheese on it and made excuse that the online form has writing too small. So we stopped doing pick up orders and only go inside. Still mistakes, and the last time the waitress was rude and pointed to the menu and had me read what the ingredients were. So I ordered tacos without cheese after she gave me an attitude and the beans came with cheese even though no where on the menu it says there is cheese on there and I told her we couldn’t have cheese. If Taco Bell can provide food in 3 minutes for someone with allergies and double check to make sure it’s correct you would think a sit down restaurant would be able to as well. My daughters safety is important to me, but the restaurant obviously doesn’t care how sick she gets."
