"My girlfriend and I decided to try a new restaurant for Mexican food. I had gone with a friend years ago and we loved the huge burritos at Taqueria El Local. This time, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who didn't speak much English, but we managed to communicate just fine. The restaurant had a colorful interior and a local feel, with families enjoying their meals. The salsa was amazing, homemade and full of traditional spices. I had the Carne Asada and my girlfriend had the Mexican Barbecue plate, both dishes were fantastic. The meat was flavorful and tender, and I especially loved the grilled onions. We will definitely be coming back to this hidden gem of a restaurant in the future!"
