"Very disappointed. I am a fan of the one in Weston and expected the same level of quality, however I was sadly mistaken. Rhe food was horrible! I ordered the breaded chicken and it was by far the most dry chicken ever served. It was fried so much that you could had broken a window with it. The service was extremely slow. Took the waiter minutes to bring the coffee and dessert...which were both cold but the time they were served! Never again would I go back"

"We were in for the weekend and booked a reservation for Shelter Pizza. After driving to it and looking for parking, we walked to the restaurant and it was CLOSED!! I do not know if the food and service is good or not. "Cocula Mexican Restaurant has very recently changed ownership. It is now Mariscos Nayarit. My family made plans to meet at Cocula last Saturday night. We were shocked to see that the name has changed. The menu is entirely different and the prices are higher. The menu was not the conventional Mexican we are accustomed to. LOTS of weird seafood dishes. The service was terrible. We were seated without menus. Someone in our party went to the hostess station (which was unattended) and got some menus. The server brought chips and thin watery salsa before taking our drink orders. We didn't even have napkins or eating utensils yet. Some of our orders were not correct. Even though there is a bar, I don't think it is in operation no draught beef or mixed drinks. We asked for glasses for our beer but never received them. Despite all the cons, everyone thought their food tasted good.Cocula was our favorite Mexican restaurant and we are disappointed to see it closed. If it couldn't stay in business, I don't see how Mariscos has much chance of succeeding."

"The chicken soup was too salty, I spoke to waitress and she took it away. Couldn’t really eat anything after due to heartburn. After we are done..I asked for the bill. The soup that I didn’t even get to finish due to saltiness was being charged in the bill. I questioned the waitress and she mentioned that there wasn’t anything she can do about. Zero stars and the automatic 18 percent gratuity."

"Jaime turned out to be very pleasant as a representative of the place. We ordered a few dishes and were not disappointed with our order. 3 Ceviche Mixto, which meant seafood variety and no fish. Everyone liked it, not perfect, think, but surely fresh and beautiful portion. 2 Tamales Peruvian style with pork, and very pleasant plus beautiful size. On the Argentine side of the menu we ordered 2 breast chicken with rice, beautifully marinated and easy to eat. Many items in the menu piqued our curiosity, but there was enough for the four of us. The place also offers sorted treats that I have a few that are very nice for dessert. Cuts about $18 a piece that seems the current price these days. Tamal $9 per? The chicken plate at $15. Overall, we felt well treated and liked their food, from Argentina and Peru under a roof (in alphabetical order), and we met a few beautiful Argentine ladies who made waiting for our out much more beautiful. A total of $106, but order was plentiful with salsa and bread. Four stars."

"This is a ticktock hyped place. And it’s excellent. Fresh empanada of all variety’s and great grilled meats. The staff are very friendly. This location is both a restaurant and a market. You can come in have a sit down meal, or grab coffee and snacks from the counter. You can also buy fresh meat. Highly recommend Mercado Buenos Aires although it’s a short drive north of LA. As typical of LA parking may be a bit tight but wait a few mins and a space will open up or just park on the street."

"My boricua friend and I went to this restaurant, I order shrimp cocktail and he order a nice Puerto Rican plate, I got really dissatisfied wit my plate because I’ve never in my life had this type of shrimp cocktail that consist on a bowl with a bed of lettuce the shrimp covered on a sauce of ketchup and Mayo with a few crackers that aren’t fresh, it was very disappointing because I’ve never had a cocktail like this and expensive for non fresh food, even my friend told me that’s not an actual shrimp cocktail and he is a chef; the only thing that redeem this experience it was his plate, it was so close to his PR food taste, the meat it’s was cooked perfectly the rice taste smoked bacon soooo good and the abichuelas amazing! This is the only reason why I am giving this start rate. In regards to the server we believe she needs more knowledge on the menue and be able to cross sell more products or provide better suggestions."

I died alone. I don't want to say that I don't return here, no matter how good it is.
