"I hope that this restaurant improves in the future, but currently they are facing challenges. The kitchen, run by just one man, only prepares one table at a time, resulting in a nearly 3-hour wait for a 2-course meal. On two occasions, they had to inform us that the food we had ordered was no longer available. The peach cobbler did not have any cobbler in it, just canned peaches and ice cream. Interestingly, we had previously enjoyed two great meals at their upstairs location, but our experience at Banter was completely different. The menu looks promising, but the execution is lacking. Despite these issues, they did take 50% off our bill without us having to complain, indicating that they were aware of their shortcomings."
