Savory miso broth with springy noodles, topped with tender pork slices, soft-boiled egg, and fresh green onions.

"We loved our fresh raw oysters. Also loved the Small Plates of Orange Chicken and Szechuan Noodles—they were an excellent combination to share. The Fried Fish Curry was delicious. The Asian inflections here are always interesting and tasty. Recommend exploring the extensive Classic Cocktails Menu—lots of tempting choices for a change of pace. We love the ambiance and decor here. It does get noisy, but the liveliness is understandable. The staff are good people, but service is often rather slow, so more staff could be a plus."

"I tried their rams for lunch today. Pretty tasty, I really try to get a feeling of how traditional ravens should taste, so I'm not sure how to compare it with the high-quality modern riddles I found in Boston. Anyway, come back to try some sushi and Bengo!"

"Cuvee Ray is a must for wine and food lovers. Chef Joey Churchman is a star. We followed him from his own restaurant, Bramble Brine to Buttery in Lewes and now Cuvee Ray. Every dish is beautifully presented. The deckle is a stand-out. We also had the charred Brussels sprouts, warm Kale Salat and Teliolini Pasta with asparagus and mushrooms. I appreciated options as a vegan. The back room has its own dining room for large groups. Live music on Friday and Saturday night in the room/bar. The service is also top notch so don't hesitate!"

"This was my first Japanese food experience in the area, and Sumo Hibachi doesn't stand out on my list of memorable places to eat. The sushi wasn't bad, although I wish the menu mentioned it had wasabi inside. The spring rolls weren't bad either and went well with the sauce. However, the chicken with the hibachi plate was quite soft and chewy, which is less tasty than compared to a bit of char. The dressing on the salad wasn't very tasty either. The food itself warrants a star off. The other star deduction comes from the 18% gratuity at the end of the meal, regardless of party size. I've seen many restaurants add a mandatory gratuity for large groups (i.e. 6+ but it's quite rare that you're charged 18% on top of your meal regardless. That's never a good look for a restaurant. I will say the show they do in the back looked entertaining though, but I didn't get to experience it first hand."

"The restaurant has a very cute, trendy vibe with an intimate dining room. Btw, parking can be a challenge but if you luck up get a parking spot directly outside the restaurant on Lancaster Avenue, it's free. The ramen...WOW! I had every intention of taking some home but nope...ate every last bit there! As a pescaterian, majority of the ramen dishes had pork broth BUT there was about 3-4 chicken/vegetable/shrimp ramen bowls. Since I had the Vegetable Miso Ramen on my 1st visit (highly recommend! , I tried the Green Curry Ramen and this dish too measured up! There's a full bar and I definitely want to return to try their sushi which I hear is great too. Ishmael was a great server! The only reason I'm giving Ramen Bar a 4 instead of 5 stars is because I asked for a little hot sauce to add to my ramen and the young lady gave me Bakudan which was delish but an additional $3 and didn't even advise beforehand (total pet peeve of mine ! I never heard of an additional charge for hot sauce and even so, generally a condiment charge is only $1-2; $3 is pretty steep. But go figures because if you add shrimp to the Vegetable Miso Ramen it's an additional $7. I guess they don't care about making things reasonable even though the restaurant is located on Drexel's campus. Also it would be nice if Ramen Bar's Happy Hour pricing returned like it had pre-pandemic (the HH menu is still on the restaurant's IG page ."

"Wakamatsu is a place that reminds me of my mother who loves sushi. Through all the years of my life and hers in Queens, Wakamatsu was the place she always went to for tasty sushi. The inside is cozy and the screens that separate the tables provides a nice amount of privacy. Our table was always the nearest one to the window.I explored much of her taste in sushi, only to develop my own, more pickier than hers. As of now, I usually order the tempura shrimp roll. I'll also get a miso soup and my favorite drink, a peach tea snapple. Sometimes I try to be adventurous, however I think I'll always be defined by my picky tastes in life.We know there seemed to be a change in management around 4 years ago or so. The woman we were used to seeing behind the table no longer was there as she was previously. However we're glad the wonderful food never changed once. We hope she's doing well."

"I was looking for sushi while I was traveling, and I went here because it was receiving good reviews from Google. There was wide tables and bar table, so you can enjoy your meals with family or friends or alone. There are various menus such as sushi, sushi rolls, sashimi, ramen, etc. Especially, sushi rolls have a variety of options, you can choose one that suits your taste. Sashimi’ slices are very thick, so you can enjoy a wonderful texture and taste. Ramen is well matched with the other menus. Make sure to eat them together. At First time, I ate sushi for takeout. The food was well packed and maintained freshness. And next time, when I ate it in the restaurant, I can feel that all the staffs were very pleasant and kind. And the food service was quick that I had a great time for enjoy meal. Next time, I'll have sake or wine or beer with food in the restaurant. I strongly recommend this sushi restaurant."

"Ordered pickup with my family. The food itself is pretty good, but they left out several items that were supposed to be included with our entrees. For example, the website says chicken katsu comes with soup, salad, and white rice, but there was no white rice to be found (and does lettuce underneath the chicken count as a salad? . For $19, I would probably expect either a ton of food or the sides that were supposed to be included. The chicken was decent, pork buns were okay,"

"My family and I had Sunday dinner night at Amami. Overall, it was a lovely experience. The interior of the venue combined the elegance Japanese design with its hip Brooklyn flavor. The food was delicious. We had the Yakatori to start, which was grilled to perfection. The sushi/ sashimi for two was beautifully presented with a fresh sampling of a variety of fresh fish and house rolls. Our server Aphen was knowledgeable and thoughtful with his recommendations. The cocktail program presented a Japanese twist on traditional cocktails. Bartenders were warm and friendly. The owner/ chef came over to our table to greet us and see how we were enjoying our meal. You can tell he really cares about the guest experience and his craft. Dessert (my favorite part of every meal) was a perfect way to end with the tempura fried red bean ice cream and cheese cake. From start to finish, it was a great experience."

"Great experience celebrating my nephews 18th birthday! The food was amazing (my nephew was obsessed with the Jett roll). Also, try the Japanese sodas! Our server overheard us say happy birthday and surprised him with a fried cheesecake and happy birthday video on the big screens. Such a wonderful time!Food: 5/5"

"Ordnete Tempura dish for 19.95. What I got was a large bowl of dried rice with a few pieces of hard, fried vegetables and a small shrimp that obviously sat under a heat lamp. I couldn't finish it because it was just inconspicuous and chew. I politely asked the server who I could say was a young person, maybe a high student when that was normal. I saw how the server went to manager/owner/pick and asked them. The manager/owner/images, who sorted silverware, did not even look at the server and without a word the index finger, indicating that only 1 piece of shrimp were normal. It was quite unprofessional and even I felt bad for our server. Apart from the poor quality of food, high prices, this simple and short interaction I experienced, talked a lot about this place. You lost a customer in me."

"This was a destination restaurant for me and my coworkers, as we enjoy the night playing tourists in Seattle. We took the ferry over to Winslow, and it was a quick cab ride up the hill to Subi. We had a reservation, and since we were early we had to wait a few minutes for our table. Soon we were sitting near the front of the crowded dining room, it was definitely a busy Friday night. Our friendly waitress took the drink orders, and quickly returned with our selections. A group ordered everything from Sashimi to rolls to Ramen, with a couple of salads and of course miso soup as well. All was very good! Test the freshness you would expect at a good sushi place. The prices were a bit high, but then again Winslow is a little more upscale of a place and it is on an island. Enjoyed my hot sake, assorted tuna nigiri, Hamachi, and roll. If you go, get there early enough to give yourself time to explore the cute little town before you head back to the ferry."
