"Well we have not been here for maybe 1.5 years. The first 5 6 times we came the food was excellent. My wife and I made a plans to bring our Girls when they were In Town together. We are all lovers of great sushi. So this was our anniversary and we brought the girls as they were in town. On our previous visits the fish was great Specifically the Toro and Hamachi were epic and the live shrimp and the higher end items were all clean fresh and excellent But this last trip...... wow many changes have occurred The quality I am sorry to say was not good After spending 500.00 on a dinner we were very disappointed in the quality. Note the cost was still similar to the previous trips just the quality has dropped off. I noticed the sushi chef we had all the previous times we had been here was not present. They did not have several of the items I like The Toro was tough The hamachi was the same and flavorless Also they removed all the high end sake reduced to list to less then half Must be going after lower priced items to get more cost conscious clients I understand that strategy if you are unable to maintain a high level of quality because the more quality minded consumers are not frequenting the spot you need to adjust It is unfortunate for us. The server was great and the service was also good Although our server this time had no idea about the Sake at all (figured he has not been educated on the differences) as the selection of sake is something like 5 8 options you would think you ask which is a more dry sake and they would have trained there servers about the small selection Again the service was good (attentive) but the food quality mediocre at best. We discussed this at dinner and literally apologized to our daughters about the food. This was an unfortunate turn but the staff was attentive and quick with requests We will be taking this off the list of places we go Too bad only a few places you can get good quality sushi any more"

"I was twice at this place of rakiraki, and both of them I was just a bit disappointed. the situation in convoy is further away from where I live, but it is absolutely worth the ride because I incredibly underwhelmed by the food at the location mira mesa. I ordered the black edition ramen with chashu both male I went, and both male I was uncertain whether I even got the right dish, because not only the broth did not appear the black, which I expected from regular ordering black edition ramens at several different Rakiraki shops, but it did not even look dark (it was more of a strange speckled orange-brown) and let me not be prepared it could be hard to see in the picture exactly how thick some of the pieces were chashu, but I would honestly compare it more with the experience to eat a piece well made steak. I thought it might have been a fuke when I first ordered it here, but after the second time the same experience was, I realized it was just as it was prepared here. also my friend and I noticed both the paintings that we have gone that the device is really real. faul feels it is in the round only simple concrete walls, floor coverings and some tables and chairs. I can appreciate and enjoy a minimal aesthetic, but it feels like they ran out of the budget for the construction and threw some furniture in there before they called it a day. don't get me wrong, I'll say that, to the greatest part, everything was in order, but I don't think I'm likely to ever come back here when I want to ram, and certainly not when I want to rosm from rakiraki."
