"My boyfriend and I came here during lunch time sometime during the week and it was empty aside from one other table. There was only one staff member taking orders, and it took like 3-5 minutes to be acknowledged when we came in which was annoying because the place was basically empty and it's tiny. The thing I wanted was not on the menu, and a lot of the menu contained meat items so I had to resort to the grilled cheese with fries. Okay so here's the weird thing. Everyone in the reviews for this place was saying the staff is really nice and friendly but that was not the case whatsoever. When we came, the waitress mumbled so much so we could barely understand her. She didn't smile. She was incredibly non-personable and we were just so confused by it. We've eaten out a lot, been to a lot of states together, etc and this was just a really really weird experience for us. The whole thing was so uncomfortable and awkward. I definitely will say the restaurant would have gotten 2/5 and that 2 is from the cute interior. But then the food came out and it was GOOD! Like so good that it made us feel better for deciding not to walk out, but we're definitely never coming back because of the awful waitress. Also, I don't understand not having ketchup. I saw another reviewer talk about it and I don't even use ketchup (btw the fries here are insanely good) but it's such a simple, basic item to have for guests."
