"I saw Mise en Place years ago and my husband made reservations for us to dine there for date night. The experience was incredible! The food was exceptional and was the best food I have ever eaten! The ambience was upscale with very chic and modern decor. All of the waitstaff were beyond attentive with our water glasses never hitting below half. The manager even came by to check on our experience which was thoughtful and lovely. I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher because they hit every mark and beyond. They even offer free parking directly across the street."

"This is a Christmas Dinner Review... My wife and I flew into Oahu for the week of Christmas, we had planned dinner reservations each night with our last night being Christmas Dinner. We had eaten at this restaurant before and wanted it to be our final meal and Christmas dinner while in Hawaii.. I called 2 weeks in advance to ensure the menu would be served they said they were going to have a prefix menu as well as the regular menu available (This was confirmed over the phone 2 weeks in advance). We arrived Sunday to learn that the regular menu was not being offered and our only choice was the prefix menu... This completely ruined our Christmas day! we reserved this restaurant for our last meal because there are items on the regular menu that we were looking forward to. The Prefix menu was not bad, the Chef did a wonderful job of putting this together. the Presentation and flavors were all that we would come to expect from this restaurant. But we left disappointed and we felt in part our trip had been negatively impacted by this experience. I'm not sure where the failure in communication broke down as I called 2 weeks in advance to confirm the regular menu would be available but this was a huge disappointment and may impact us visiting this restaurant in the future as we visit Oahu 4-5 times a year."

"the historic building houses an amazing collection of art masterpieces. paintings and sculptures. the next door is the new building with beautiful art. I have visited several times, every time I am more in the awe of this precious stone of an art museum."
