"This is more a review for Open Table more than anything else. I booked this reservation the week before our trip as we had a party of 10 and it was important for us to get together as we were all travelling from different locations. I received a confirmation and even a reminder via email. As it happened, the afternoon before the reservation a couple of our staff wanted to look at the menu for the restaurant. Unfortunately, we found through that search that the restaurant closed...PERMANENTLY!!! We are not sure what happened, but a cursory search of the internet found that this restaurant was no longer in operation. We were not informed in any way by Open Table. We had an impossible time finding a restaurant to accommodate us that evening. Unfortunately, I can no longer trust Open Table with my scheduling needs and will need to go directly through restaurants in the future. There needs to be a procedure for these types of situations. I won't be back to this website."
