"really delicious Indian food in cranberry. I didn't order much today, but everything I had was more than satisfactory. today's order consisted of channa bhatura (chickpea curry with big puffy brot) and kheer. the actual kicherbsenkur was very good. I'm sure the full channa masala meal is also amazing because the soße has for me exactly the right amount of seasoning, which is great because I couldn't find a way to add seasoned online. there were big cockerbsen in the curry and it was not too oily. his toppings were interesting: cilantro and rohe wobbles. not a big fan of tweeting. also the part of the curry is a little small. the Bhatura-Brot, on the other hand, was very big and as the description said it was quite puffy! some parts of broth were on the oily side, others were crispy. I think it was perfect overall close. it is particularly delicious when they warm it up; then the tasteful oil and salt is more obvious what I enjoy. it gets a bit crispy when it warms. I loved the guy. usually my way to Indian dessert gulab jamun. but I have heard that tamarinds gulab jamuns are very small and are not worth the price. the Kheer share was fair for the price (not small, not big) it was super creamy and sweet! I loved the addition of all nuts, such as cashews and rusts as well as some other almost juicy fruits. overall I have tamarind on my cranberry radar. eating is not too expensive and it is high quality. Although I have not tried much, I can still say that it is a solid restaurant that I would recommend."

"We were celebrating my husband’s birthday as he loves Indian food. Were seated at a nice cozy table in a corner. Waiter seemed okay but after our appetizer (sorry, don’t remember but it was -grated onions fried in balls) my entree came but as time went by, my husband’s entree did not. Waiter was not easy to flag down nor attentive. Seemed like he didn’t know what waiting on patrons involved. Didn’t check our water glasses. Finally when asked about the entree he tried to blame us that we hadn’t ordered! We pointed out specifically how we ordered. It took another reminder before that entree arrived. The lighting was nicely low but not dark. At one point our waiter turned it up much brighter which was harsh and unpleasant. We said something but he didn’t seem to understand and never turned it down. My entree, the house special lamb kebabs, was inedible. Dry, unseasoned, not flavorful and tough. I ate less than half. They did not ask us how our meal was but a young woman waitress did offer 15% off my entree because I wasn’t happy. His service was very bad. The atmosphere was lovely. The food- not worth ever going there again and they didn’t seem to care. Surprising in times like these when restaurants have struggled. We want to give small businesses abs eateries the business but when it seems they don’t care and don’t care about service- we can easily go elsewhere."
