"Their Camarones Cucarachas once made the list of best dishes in East LA, and I am convinced. These shell-on shrimp are covered with a sweet and sizzling red sauce with pungent garlic and plenty of paprika. The shrimp were a bit mushy, which is the only thing I would change. The even spicier Camaron Aguachile Tostada has smooth chunks of shrimp in a glowing green chile water, a cold and refreshing app. Tacos Gobernador are a secret menu item, the worst-kept secret. A cheese-filled taco of jumbo shrimp, fried on the outside so the cheese makes a crispy crust. Comes with a side of smoky, spicy black salsa that hurts so good. I love Mariscos Linda. Their food is unapologetically, authentically delicious and that they're not afraid to make it the way it's supposed to be; full of flavor and full of fire. If you can't take the heat, get a glass of milk and order something anyway."
