"I called to place an order for pick up. Asked how much was a large tripe soup with rice, lady said $14 but I couldn?t place the order I had to go to the restaurant. I go to the restaurant, my order is ready and she said I have to pay $21. ??? What!! wewent back and forth and I reminded her that I was the person she spoke to over the phone. But the funny part is when I said Iwas not paying $21 for a tripe soup and a small rice. She said ?but we already warmed up the soup for you? ??? Lol It?s not EVENMADE TODAY!? I definitely don?t want it now. SELLING ME A SOUP WHO KNOWS HOW OLD IT IS FOR $21. I walked over to LiberatoRestaurant on 183rd Jerome ave. They charged me $13 ; (by the way, I am aware that restaurant food can be there for days I wasjust being extra for her trying to rip me off."

"I've been here with my wife several times and I've been disappointed. We had the wonderful Dominican breakfast, got the dinner specials and ordered trays of food for special occasions and had no problems. The food was delicious and we were happy with the service. "This is my second visit. The food is still amazing. Today I ordered fried plantain with picadillo and melted cheese for appetizer. I also ordered lunch special, pork roast with onion and black beans and rice. Everything was delicious. Portions are generous, and the prices are very cheap. You haven't changed much since I last visited 3 years! Service was great, very friendly. Everything was so great, I even have a few things to go."

I’ve been able to discover so much delicious food and local favorites.Normally, after picking up from a certain restaurant over four times, I start asking the customer’s opinion of the food at drop off.This particular customer responded that at that point they ordered from this restaurant every day for the past three days. I was convinced and had to try.The rotisserie chicken is tinder, well seasoned yet and cooked perfectly. You can choose between white and dark pieces. The flavor sits within each bite of meat, the Sofrito rice compliments perfectly with the beans.And that garlicky sauce, OMG….that’s how you could wind up eating from El Nuevo Tina for next three days."

"The food is too pricey, they serve you only a half of cup of beans and white rice. Usually authentic restaurants serve you more beans then that especially if it's for two people. Their bathrooms have water saving old system which sadly they need to change asap. It gets clogged to easy and to me that's a big don't go back. They only get 2 stars because they do have a bar and the place is bit centric for a stop and go but I would not recommend it for a picky, clean eater like myself.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp but don't go past 4:00pm too crowded."

"Excellent food. It’s cash only so don’t use cards. It’s small with only one table. Most of the people coming in while I was eating did take out. It’s a family business and everyone is working hard cooking and such. I really liked it. Felt homey and personal. And holy cow it was very very well priced. $11 bucks for an enormous egg, toast, bacon, and potato, combo, with bottled water and tea. Def coming back."

"Place is strange to say the least. I walked in and was greeted by food on the steam table which was a welcome sight. However the restaurant itself was incredibly dark and appeared to be operating as a club? There were bottles of alcohol on the floor behind the bar so unsure to if it was a club or not. The place was not the cleanest of restaurants.The food was pretty good though so if you're willing to take the chance go ahead."

"They do not honor prices on their menu and will charge you more than double at the end regardless of their posted price.The owners actual management are not there , only their inexperienced son who is not knowledgeable about anything pertaining to the restaurant even down to the menu.Waitresses are inept and literally brought out the wrong food 3 times then they were terribly rude when asked to correct their mistakes .Disgusting customer service from a kid claiming to be the owners son who claimed to be in charge of the restaurant when we tried to get clarification."
