"I went here all the time when I was a kid and was one of my favorite places to eat, before the new owners bought it. I moved away a long time ago when I was eleven. My boyfriend and I were in town to visit my family and I had to take him here. Needless to say the new owners have done a fantastic job keeping up the small local atmosphere and charm it always had. Now it is a small diner so they get busy, if you are in a rush I would call ahead to be sure they have tables available. If you’re not in a rush I promise whatever the wait is, its worth it. It’s not very expensive and they give big portions. I LOVE this place and always have. Our server was amazing and even though she was slammed busy she still made time to talk with us about the old days and what use to be. Also she made some good recommendations on the menu. I got to meet one of the new owners while checking out to pay the bill. He was a nice and humble guy, I praised him for keeping moms kitchen alive. I am so glad they have flourished all these years cause it would be a shame to see this place go out of business. Amazing job guys!!
