"I called to make a reservation, but they only have priority seating where they take your name and give you a time slot. There is no guarantee of a table, but I went ahead and reserved for 7:15. We ended up being seated around 7:45. The hostess greeted us at the entrance and our waitress was very attentive, checking on us regularly. The manager also came by to ensure everything was going well. We quickly ordered the Atlantic salmon with asparagus and rice pilaf, chicken tortilla soup, Black Rock Ribs, House Salad, Mac and Cheese, and 3 Jumbo Shrimps. The soup and salad came out first and were delicious and a perfect size. Our main course arrived after about 20 minutes, and it was well-presented and tasty. The portion sizes were just right. The atmosphere and surroundings were pleasant, and they were following safety protocols, making sure to clean and sanitize after each table was cleared. The only downside was that the floors were a bit greasy, and I saw a few guests almost slip. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Black Rock Ann Arbor location and it has become my new favorite spot in Michigan."
