"Today's lunch special comes from King Food, located deep in the corner of South Philly. This small establishment has been around for years, and I happen to know and teach the children of the family that runs it. Today, I finally decided to give them a try. I ordered the $6 lunch special, which included General Tso chicken with chicken fried rice and fresh vegetables. The General Tso chicken was perfectly cooked and fried, not too tough or chewy like some other Chinese restaurants in the neighborhood. The fried rice was very fresh, and the vegetables served with it were also fresh and delicious. The broccoli was especially fresh. They also offer delivery and are very friendly people.
