Thai-style grilled pork skewers, marinated with garlic, cilantro, and soy sauce, served with a tangy dipping sauce.

"everything was pleasant until the lighting. difficult to explain, but it felt like the club scene at 2 o'clock, when all the lights on bright and it was time to go home."

"the food was good, but the service abysmal. I'm not sure if I've ever had a restaurant where I had to do with so much imagination. From check-in to order, to serve were all interactions unpleasant, and it felt that we were asking for one to spend our money there with a grumpy staff. the main courts came in a rushing 5 minutes from the order (all except one that was mysteriously late) with the appetizers after half the by the main meal - no excuses, of course. I was embarrassed, as I had suggested to my colleagues, after a busy conference day in the moscone center. disturbances were about 50% overpriced compared to similar meal times, but I thought the location would explain that. with different settings of the personal this restaurant could be decent."

"Very good service, tasty food and good portions. Both the Pad Thai and the Green curry were very enjoyable, and so were all the appetizers we had (chicken satay, Bangkok dumpling and shrimp rolls). Will definitely come back or order in."

"Awful awful awful. I've been coming here for years, I even came here one birthday! When I came here for a pick up last week, no one was around. I finally flagged down a cook in the kitchen and he went into the bathroom to get the cashier who came out with trash bags- she was just cleaning the bathroom. She said she missed my order, even though they received it, so although I came at the time the estimate said my order would be ready, I'd have to wait another 15 minutes.Fine. Not a big deal. But then, I noticed she packaged my food without washing her hands after she cleaned the bathroom.I also noticed upon getting home and opening my food that the salsa she gave me was ROTTEN. Straight up sour, and the cilantro in it was wilting, but it was the tomatoes that were the worst. I called back to let her know and ask her for a refund but she could not speak English, could not remember that I had just picked it up (even though there was only 1 2top in at the time I went- the place was empty) and could not understand what I was saying. Finally, I got through to her and she said she would go check and then put the phone down and I overheard her taking order after order.I hung up and decided to email, I followed up, no response. This is not how a restaurant should be run."

"Been here at Pho Thai on quite a few occasions. It’s my “go-to” in the New Haven area for some of the best Vietnamese and Thai dishes. Was is search of “Bánh xèo” and found some other favorite dishes instead such as chicken satay, drunken noodles, crazy chicken noodle soup, grilled salmon with curry, fried mushrooms, chicken wings, Thai fried rice and a must must try-drunken noodle with your choice of meat and level of spiciness. Flavors are on the borderline of authentic from its homeland and look forward to exploring many more of their dishes. Hey-they EXPANDED, they now have a Boba Tea and crepe cafe-Definitely worth a try!."

"sushi was great, calamari was not good, very gumy and tasted either old or not even calamari. service was terrible, we had a bottle of wine on the table and had to ask for glasses....brings glasses and then had to ask for a wine-opener, then had to ask for a bucket of ice. the waitress should have offered all these things if she had seen the bottle wein. the waitress never looked at us to see if we needed something we had to tie her down. there were only 1 other table in there, so I would hate to see how the service is when they are busy. again the sushi was fantastic"

"Very bad staff especially the lady in front desk Jenny. Pathetic behavior. Doesn’t know how to behave. Neither ready to talk nor allowing manager/ owner to talk to me. Very bad."
"The in-person ordering was kind of awkward using a walkie-talkie. I ordered salad rolls and the M&P Thai fried rice with tofu and no egg. The salad rolls were good, but I was extremely disappointed they were wrapped in plastic and packed in a Styrofoam container. I was pleasantly surprised by the turmeric in the fried rice, but I would have preferred the tofu and peppers cut into smaller pieces."

"I was on my way home and was looking for something quick to eat before getting on the train. I stumbled upon this low key restaurant checked out the menu and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I love love love Thai food so it was a no brainer. I only ordered the panang noodles. It was a flavor explosion in my mouth. To my surprise and joy the noodles were deep fried and crispy. The curry was rich and creamy bursting with subtle hints of keffir lime leaves coconut milk spiciness and just the right level of sweetness. I will be back to check out several of their other dishes. This place is a triple threat: great food great price and the portions are good."

"Food was amazing and very flavorful. Each dish has its own character and can stand on its own. We got the pork belly adobo, khao soi, coconut rice, Hainanese duck, and sisig. All dishes were perfect, and the Hainanese Duck was enhanced by the duck fat rice underneath it. Go for family style so everyone can try a bit of everything."

"This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had in my life! I wish I lived closer bc I would eat this weekly if I could. Instead it’s saved for special holidays like Christmas and Birthdays and anytime I’m in Evanston. My family has been coming here for decades and it’s always a joy. The prices are fair, the portions are big, the flavors are delicious, the food is so fresh, and the owners are incredibly friendly. I tell everyone who likes Thai flavors to come here. I have been searching for comparable Thai food forever and it just doesn’t exist, this place is it! We love to get the lime chicken, the pad Thai, the nam sod, drunken noodle, pad se iew, Tom Ka khai , kari puffs, Panang curry, basil beef, and coconut rice (not always at the same time haha). The meat, poultry, and tofu are always high quality and a pleasing texture. They have never ever gotten our to go order wrong either, which is invaluable in these times where we’re doing carry out so much more than in the past."

"This place should be shut down. Dirty facilities, overpriced, consistently BAD QUALITY. FOOD (NOT AUTHENTIC I ordered the sizzling beef which was not fresh (you could tell the meat was previously frozen), terrible flavor. Most horrible of all is the manager Mary, who is a very nasty person does not understand customer service or hospitality, and runs the restaurant like an dictator automat. Extremely rude, bad service. So many other places on the Upper West Side better than this filthy restaurant. Save your money, do not patronize this dump."
