"We loved this place before it became popular, then the service went downhill because the restaurant didn 't hire enough staff to fill customer 's needs. I used to love the Asian flavored ice cream (green tea, black sesame, lychee) but then there was a period when there was no ice cream at all. When I was told that the supplier no longer had those flavors, I suggested Fosselman 's (in Alhambra). The restaurant supposedly went there and the flavors returned. Now, the reataurant does not have those flavors any more, just traditional vanilla and strawberry, and macaroons. We were told that the refrigeration system could not keep the ice cream cold enough to keep it from melting. I don 't believe it. The food this time was a disappointment, also. Apparently, they changed chefs, which explains why the food tastes different now. A favorite of ours, Mapo Tofu, is now like an oil based soup ... not good (never seen, nor tasted anything like it). Overall, it was disappointing this time."
