"I definitely overordered for myself, but everything I tried was excellent. I started with an iced tea, which was one of the best I've had. Many places serve watered-down iced tea, but at Marathon, it was richly brewed and actually tasted like tea—this is quite rare. Next, I enjoyed the Crispy Calamari, Elijah’s Mac & Cheese, and the Turkey Club. The calamari and mac & cheese were both fantastic; every bite made me crave another. The Turkey Club, on the other hand, was just average. By the time I got to the club sandwich, I was already full and ended up removing all the bread, just enjoying the bacon, turkey, and tomato instead. Everything was fresh, and the portions were generous for such affordable prices. I was really impressed with this place—it's simple, convenient, and budget-friendly. The service was quick and friendly as well. If I lived in Philly, I would definitely be a regular here."
