My steak was grilled to perfection with just a hint of garlic and oregano and not over saturated with salt and pepper. Will go back to try more dishes. "My Husband and I were visiting the Lake Carmel area over the holiday weekend and decided to try Greek Village based on their menu, we love Greek food and diners. Well, we were in for a big surprise because they have Gluten Free Rolls and a DEDICATED Fryer for their fries! I am Gluten Free out of medical necessity and always have to skip the fries because they are contaminated by breaded items fried in the same oil, NOT at Greek Village, they have a dedicated fryer for their GF items! I had a Lamb burger on a GF roll with Sweet Potato fries! I was in heaven. My husband who is not GF also had a great Gyro with regular fries. I can't wait to go back when I'm in the area in a few weeks. If you are GF, go there, they understand GF! Yaay!"

"A neighborhood gem! There are only a handful of tables at this low key Italian and Greek restaurant. We shared a large Manoli pizza and large super salad. Both were fabulous. The super salad had fresh romaine, carrots, cabbage, sliced tomatoes, onions (somewhat treated but I'd skip next time, and the star, the homemade mozzarella with a zingy Italian dressing. It was refreshing and addictive. I could eat this nonstop. The Manoli pizza had a large amount of toppings: Tomato sauce, mozzarella, meatballs, pepperoni, sausage, ham, onions, red peppers, mushrooms, Kalamata olives, and basil. None of the ingredients was overly salty and it ended up quite balanced and tasty. Perfect chew and crunch to the pizza. It was great. For dessert, my family had a tartufo which had chocolate, pistachio, and strawberry ice cream surrounded by a chocolate shell. They loved it. Service is friendly. There are plenty of pre prepared meals in freezers, perfect for a home meal. Thanks Yelpers for helping us find yet another spot!"

"Honestly, it's been years since I was in Corfu, but I remember some great times there and was thrilled to try again. We went to dinner on Friday as a group of six. It was surprisingly empty, there was only another table of Diners. We sat immediately and went to the order. Unfortunately, two of the dishes we ordered were not available this evening. And the waitress working on this evening was new, it was only her third day there. We finished the order instead of a burger, chicken souvlaki plated, lamb gyro, pigs souvlaki and fteki. The curtains for me were the chicken and pork souvlaki. They were both very tasty and properly cooked. The dish came with some delicious rice and side of the beans. I found the befteki, a tad heavy with the spices. The first few bites were great, but after a while overwhelming in taste. We all said prices were significantly higher than we remember, but still comparable to other restaurants in the neighborhood. We asked for additional Pita bread and tzatziki sauce and were charged an additional $3! Overall, our dinner was not too bad. Not sure I'll be back soon."
