"Best cupcakes I have ever eatten!! I was in town for a few days. I was headed to a popcorn shop, it was closed,ugh, but 2 doors down to my delight I found the Mermaid Bakery Cupcakes. [I have to admit I had seen mermaid cupcakes on googlemaps the day before and they looked yummy but my understanding from googlemaps the shop was only for orders of several, 12 cupcakes or cakes etc...so I wrote the place off being I only wanted a couple.]Okay back to today, I stepped through the 2 sets of doors and to my wonderful suprise they did have individual cupcakes for sale!! My understanding they do not prepare allot of individual cupcakes to sale each day so you might not find your favorite flavor but gosh I bet they are all yummy! I got a salted caramel chocolate and I can't remember the name of the other, it's for my hubby, he'll love it!The icing! The moist cake part. Heavenly!! I met the owners, both working hard. Very nice, kind and welcoming.If you're in Denver and need a little treat or want to treat someone or just curious from this review...check them out, you wont be disappointed!Oh, they have gluten free, call in the morning ask to save you one."
