"Ordered $50+ worth of food. Everything was very dry except for the Samosas which were good. Order 2x Samosas only got 1. No tamarind Chutney. Order Szechuan noodles they gave me some kind of rice instead. Seemed like who packed my order didn?t read myactual order and just threw whatever they had leftover in a bag. I wouldn?t have wrote a review if it was just dry but missingitems is not ok. I recommend Desi Favors or Taj instead."

"The combination of food in this restaurant was so weird and probably the worst. they served us chicken pakora with mango puree, who even eats chicken with mango puree? we would have understood if it was the traditional mango pickle but it was literally mango puree. And about the biryani, it was the worst biryani i have ever had. the biryani was soggy, and it looked like as if they mixed some gravy with steamed rice and served us and there was no sign of caramelised onion.My 14 years old niece can cook better biryani than i ate in this restaurant."

The drinks were a little expensive and extravagant then used, but over the whole dinner for two was not excessive The food and service was amazing. "Unbelievable food and service! We came with low expectations and were woven. When our food was a little slow to come, our waiter brought us free vegetables frits? This is just an example of service quality here. We had the chickens masala, chana masala, aloo gobi and naan. Portions are big and a duck could probably serve two!"

"Delicious food at a fair price. The layout is that of a nice bistro, not a typical strip mall, with pleasant decor and tablecloths. I live close by and the whole process from order to returning home was less than 30 minutes at noon on Sunday. I even enjoyed the videos and music while waiting. I home to drop in often for lunch.For parents, it's right between Urban Air and Stampede Sports.Parking: Enormous parking lot, but it's hard to go west or south with the two busy roads. This is a factor totally beyond the control of the owner."

"Went to Aroma tonight after driving by many times. We had no experience with Indian food and are shy of hot spices. The owner, servers and other patrons helped us select our vegetarian fare. One of our entrees was spicier than we liked and they immediately took it back and made it perfect for us. Everything was delicious .! The appetizer sampler was perfect to introduce us to what was available. Our entrees were incredible. The eggplant was out of this world. The rice was perfect. And the garlic naan was a delicious accompaniment to our meal. We took a take out menu to keep track of what we had so we can try something different next visit. Definitely recommend!!!!!! "Our party of six from out of town was greeted warmly and seated promptly even though we were early. The wait staff was friendly and very helpful in offering recommendations and answering questions about the meal choices. We were served in good time and water glasses were filled throughout our meal. Everyone was pleased with our restaurant choice. This is a medium sized, family run, and quiet restaurant immediately adjacent to the Broadway local subway stop EASY to get to in a pleasant upper West side neighborhood. "My wife and I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time! We were drawn in by the vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. The food was incredible! The service was fantastic as well. Our waiter was excellent, suggesting various menu items and patiently answering all of our questions. We ordered the chicken 65 appetizer and my wife tried a vegan dish that was fried like a blooming onion. We were amazed at how delicious it was, especially considering it was gluten-free! I opted for the buttered chicken and it was also fantastic."

"The food is still one of the best Indian food in Manhattan but the quality has dropped in the last two months. The Lasoni Gobi is delicious but less crispy from the past. The Paneer Khurchan was tasty but had a lot of oil. And the portion sizes have gone down a lot. It's an expensive restaurant that I didn't mind paying for because the quality and the quantity justified it. Last two orders have disappointed. I hope they fix it."

"Outside dining was fabulous. A nice breeze. Live music in the center of the courtyard. Wasn’t too loud… we were still quite able to have nice conversations without out having to raise our voices. The outside seating was completely full. Only two servers and one bus person from what I observed, but they hustled and were gracious and attentive. Our food was fabulous. Definitely will recommend to others and will return."
