"Really bland food, didn’t even have chilli sauce to accompany poppadoms (the place has ‘Chilli’ in the title , charged us for 4 poppadoms and three ‘sauces’ (dry salad, mint yogurt and shop bought mango chutney totalling £5.50 alone before we knew they didn’t have anything spicy to go with them. Other food was just weird, chicken tikka masala was bright pink orange with coconut in it(?! and tasted like a dessert it was so sweet. Seemed like it was taken out of a jar or something, had consistency of a paste but was like eating sweet, thick, pink paint. No spicing in anything, lamb bhuna was just like eating lightly fried onions with a bit of meat, that’s it. Asked for the bill 4 times before finally getting it even though restaurant wasn’t even half full. Was thinking they were taking their time to provide us with some minor treat as I’d mentioned it was a birthday. But no, nothing, they just took their time for no reason. Really bad food."
