"I ordered a pizza and diet coke late night. They forgot the soda, which is not the end of the world. I called the restaurant to explain the situation. The person at the phone asked for my address and told me that the driver will drop my soda. I thanked him despite their mistake. Normally, you expect an apology or a simple utterance of the word “sorry”. He just hung up on me immediately. I think some courtesy would not hurt. P.S. I waited for my soda for another 10—15 minutes."
