"Tresca is about 5-10 minutes from the Faneuil Hall/Quincy Market area and maybe 3 minutes from Paul Revere's house. It's one of many Italian restaurants along Hanover Street. We'd strongly advise walking as parking in the area appears sparse. Tresca is a two-story restaurant and we'd suggest going to the second floor. We were seated by a window with views of the street, which was great for people watching. There is something of a family feel about the place, including a very large family group seated next to us. We visited on a Saturday night. Reservations are essential as we saw many people turned away. I would rate our service as OK. It was a busy night and things were a bit slow. It wasn't that the service was bad, but it was basically what you'd expect and not much more. Those around us seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our food was very good. We had the arancini as an appetizer and pasta for our main courses (one carbonara and the other the black tiger shrimp). This is a good choice for an Italian meal."
