"We stumbled upon this beachy place after walking back to our inn because they had a live guitarist playing and he looked like one of our friends from back home. They have a decent cocktail list. Some are served in mason jars. I had the strawberry basil cocktail it was fresh but maybe too pulpy to be considered perfect drink-itude. They also have 8 to 10 beers on tap. The first time we went, we ordered the salmon cakes and they were delighful. 2 burger-sized fried concoctions with spicy mayo and a tiny after thought dolop of remoulade. I was hoping for more remoulade, but oh well. The next day on our way back from the beach we stopped in again. Different guitarist, and we ordered the fried calamari. It was quite spicy since it's served with rings of hot peppers. I wish they would have fried the peppers in the same way that the calamari was. The hostess was decent. She sat us quickly outside on the deck but there was a delay in when a server decided to talk to us. I can see why the average rating is a 3 possibly because of the service) I liked the food and drinks enough to bump it to a four. Note: They allow well behaved pups on the deck."
