"we had visited our granddaughter of D.C. before she left for a college semester in london. she loves to do everything with beaches and ozeans, so the tiller room with its cash on a cliff above the atlantic on the maine coast was a perfect choice. When we arrived, we asked for a table at the window and said that none was available. we were asked if we wanted to wait, and we agreed, soon one became open. they were very gracious and cleaned the table fast for us. our server was very efficient and very pleasant. our meals were presented attractively and very tasty. we started with the teller of the chef (a charcuterie board) who shared three of us. my sohn and enkelin could not decide whether they wanted the short rib sandwich or the burger, so that everyone ordered and shared them. both sandwiches received a high mood. my man had the burger, as well as the lobster corn-chowder and enjoyed both. I had the Burrata salad that was very nice and not too much after the Charcuterie board. this is one of our favorite special events. it is a bit a drive from our house in new hampshire, but it is worth every minute of our time on the road."
