"In Williamsburg for a 2-week stay last week, Casa Pearl was our first dinner, and it was so good that we returned this week. Last week we had the roasted oysters and grilled fish (black sea bass this day). This week we had fresh oysters, ketches, smoked fish, shrimp toast and filled local shells. Both meals were BY FAR the best food we found in this area, and it is as some of the best food we eat in the USA. The cook knows how to concentrate on the main ingredient and uses additional ingredients only to support the main product to ensure that it shines. Everything is made here, even the sauces for the oysters (freshly rubbed horse stable is phenomenal and their own hot sauce (not vinegar, but fermented!) . Each dish was special in its own way, and we would have one of them again (and again...., especially the grilled whole fish. As if it wasn't enough to serve delicious food, the decor is clean, slim and ultra-comfortable. Every single employee we met was polite, knowledgeable and committed. Our only complaint is that Casa Pearl is not about 600 miles north!"
