"Rude front staff. We were stuck in traffic trying to find our way quicker to restaurant. They called at 15 min past our res and asked if we still wanted our reservation then thanked me for letting them know? Let my wife out to hurry to the table. They tried to seat her at the bar in someone else’s seat with menus then left her there. Cold shouldered us when I came in from the parking lot and my wife was walking back to the front after being abandoned at the bar. Bizarre. We were 16 min late. Been going here for years. Not sure we’re going back."

"We went for brunch. We ordered the special Benedict with roasted pork and potatoes and the French toast. Both were outstanding! The cocktails were also great. We ordered the Front Porch, the Pineapple Mimosa and the German Chocolate cocktails. All were delicious and recommended. The service was efficient, friendly and prompt. We are looking forward to coming back and trying it for dinner to see if it's just as delicious!"

"Just dined here on 10/13 to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. I grew up in Charlotte, but we live in Ohio now, so a Charlotte friend recommended Dogwood (and was also with us that night). Got there early and had wine at the bar while we waited for everyone to arrive they have Saldo which is a red I like. Really liked the ambiance. My son and I shared several things including the French fries, duck and dumplings, and American wagyu flank. We tried some crab cake that my sister ordered. Two others ordered the fish which looked very good! For dessert, we got three types of ice cream (including one with corn), and others shared some of their pumpkin cheesecake. Overall, the meal was quite delicious! The service was excellent. Wish I still lived in Charlotte now!"

"Elliotts is typically one of our favorites. Tonight’s visit was okay. Our service was good — Emily was new but well trained and personable. Lavender cocktail was good but more of a summer drink. The chef halibut special was a beautiful piece of fish but had lots of unusual, unrelated toppings.. tomatoes, mango, crisps and a bed of lukewarm white rice. Not very delicious. Nice bottle of Italian red rounded out the experience. Mixed report but we’ll be back!"
