"The food itself was excellent. Luckily, our dinner coincided with their $1 oysters on the half-shell promotion. The oysters were fresh and delicious. My friend's cod with crabs was outstanding. However, my granddaughter's kids' pizza was quite disappointing. The crust was soft, and the entire dish lacked flavor. I ordered a hot lobster roll, but I didn't particularly enjoy it as it was almost too buttery for my taste. The side of homemade potato chips was also a mixed experience; half of the chips were crisp and tasty, while the other half were anything but crisp. I also got the feeling that the hostess didn’t particularly care that we had arrived, as she seemed unfriendly. Overall, the food was above average, but the atmosphere left much to be desired."
