"The lukewarm green tea was an unfortunate sign of things to come. When I inquired if the tea is typically served at that temperature, the staff suggested they could microwave it if I wanted. It was disappointing because the tea had a lovely smoky flavor. However, the miso soup was fantastic with a rich, flavorful broth. For the appetizer, I had four deep-fried battered jalapeño halves stuffed with spicy salmon and cream cheese, drizzled with a special sauce. The shrimp and vegetable tempura entree came with brown rice and included a dipping sauce and the requested wasabi. The tempura featured pumpkin, tomato, eggplant, broccoli, onion rings, and four beautifully battered prawns. The refill of green tea arrived piping hot, just as I prefer. Overall, I would return when I'm in the mood for sushi."
