"During our evening visit, the restaurant was only operating at 25% capacity, yet we still found children running around, which was quite distracting. The New York strip steak was good, but it was prepared medium instead of the medium-rare that I had requested. The pappardelle noodles were overcooked and mushy, although the veal ragout did help redeem the dish somewhat. While the service was outstanding, these issues really detracted from our experience. I had high hopes for this place, but it didn’t quite meet my expectations. I worry that they'll have to rely on tourist traffic to survive. The ambiance might be nice, but the open dining room lets in the noise from the hotel, and the children of other patrons were wandering around like playful clowns, making it hard for us to enjoy our meal. I almost felt compelled to apologize to other diners, as the kitchen seemed overwhelmed for the night."
