"As winter Texans, our group of four adults attempted to dine at this restaurant several times, only to find the lobby closed upon arrival. This time, we called ahead on the 1st to check if they were open before driving the 25 minutes, but no one answered the phone. Undeterred, we decided to go anyway with a backup plan. To our delight, the restaurant was open! It was our first time trying Popeyes and I must say our visit was excellent. As a former restaurant owner-operator, we were very impressed. All the employees appeared hardworking and pleasant, and the owner, Veto (I believe), conducted himself professionally, assisting during the rush and even clearing tables in the lobby. The food was outstanding - we all enjoyed chicken breast, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, red beans and rice, and sweet tea. Our friends mentioned that the sides could be larger, but it didn't bother us as the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning. Thank you, Popeyes, for a job well done! We can't wait to come back."
