"we went to a rather empty red lobster in plantation, florida on Saturday, 13 august at 20:00 o'clock. we were by far the lightest in there and were attacked by servers and customers. the we welcomed us almost immediately, while the manager who sat on a bank, greeted the black family behind us and expected that he would put them before us. the host has set us first. When I asked for a high chair for our small child, he recognized me, but never came back with one so that I had to take my own so that we don't just stand there with our small child. after approx. 20 minutes waiting time was another black couple close to us and immediately greeted by their female server, who said she would soon be there to take her drink order. she returned and took her drink order a few minutes later, while we were still sitting there. we finally got up and went and went instead to toojay and got great service and eat! when we mentioned something to the host as we left, she pointed to the manager behind us who was the same woman who expected the black family to sit in front of us despite our arrival. I cannot believe that this social injustice and treatment we have experienced in a public restaurant!"
