"My wife and I used Frugatti's to cater our wedding at the Metro Galleries downtown on July 14. We used them because their food is outstanding as we had their most popular dishes in the chicken mushroom as well as the lasagna. We also had their famous stuffed mushrooms, salad, and rolls to finish off the meal. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious as Frugatti's did their part to make our special day perfect. Beyond the outstanding food, the service was top notch. Two young gentlemen were extremely professional and friendly serving all of our guests their food and making everyone feel important. They even served my new bride and I so that we can further feel special on our most important day. The two servers were attentive to the needs of our guests by filling up drinks often and busing the tables in a timely matter. Frugatti's was extremely easy to work with, food was outstanding, and the service at our wedding really made our day special. I can't say thank you enough and if their were more stars, I would give them to Frugatti's. We also had a lot of guests from out of town that spoke very highly of the food and service. "Really great restaurant in a really great location. The Avalon is a great place to walk around. The vibe at Kona is really great. I ordered the New York Strip with California rolls. What I ordered was pretty good; not the best but good. Service was good. I gave 4 stars because I think it was a bit pricey for what it was. Friend of mine ordered the salmon and loved it!"

"this place is excellent, such an optically appealing bar restaurant. take the time to check the pictures on google, it is really a great place. the beer was cold and tasty, we already had lunch plans, so we didn't have the opportunity to taste the food. the host and the bartender were both amazing, so pleasant and friendly. it was not too busy, the bar had just opened and we were at the time just a handful of customers. the host and the bartender have spoiled us both in a wonderful talk about it, and all and nothing. talk deep, speak stupid, laugh too much! only a great time spent with the staff here, thank you for so good host. they are individual and colloidal huge assets at the bar. highly recommended to spend some time in ri ra irish pub. I wish we had more time to spend here, and we will definitely go back if we are in the opposite."

"I went to a baby shower there. I dont know about these Yelp events? The restaurant is divided into three sections. The first is the bar, The there is bar seating and then there is a bigger room. For this event the bigger room was over crowded so we sat in the bar seating which was in my opinion so much more comfortable because of the booth like seating. The wait staff was personable and the food which was sleected by the hosts of the event was actually very good."

"The gnats!!! OMG! There were gnats everywhere. Gnats in the food, gnats all over us. And they were relentless. Whack one and others move in! The food was passable but horrendously expensive. My steak seemed to have more fat than meat. Wife's meal was good she said. Three of us with entrees and one drink each had a bill $203.20. So, eh, I can think of better ways to spend $200."

The timing of the dishes served with the entrée was a bit off, as I ended up eating my steak before receiving my bacon and asparagus. The steak itself was tasty but on the smaller side. Overall, I found the prices to be overly expensive for the amount of food my partner and I received. I may opt to stick to happy hour specials in the future instead."

"Often in tourist towns you only find restaurants that cater to average expectations. Switchback Grille isn’t one of those. The food was not just delicious but the preparation and presentation indicated a serious chef with a focus on quality. I started with the Apple wood bacon wrapped scallops. The scallops were very tender as was the bacon. They were accompanied with tasty crème stuffed mushrooms. My main entree was the half chicken. Again tender with a crispy, well-seasoned skin. I sat at the bar and was well served by the bartender, Joseph. The pacing of my dishes were perfect, not too fast nor too slow. I could sit and relax to enjoy my meal and the nicely designed space. There is also seating which offers great views of the towering sandstone cliffs. After a fun time at Zion this is great restaurant to cap off the day!"

"I wanted to make a reservation, but the woman who answered the phone placed my reservation on the wrong date. The dishes they said would be available are only available for parties over 30 people. I told my guests about the reservation and food optionsfor nothing. The dining room I reserved just happened to be reserved to someone else on the same day and time. Plus, theirwebsite has been down for over a week, and no one answered the Facebook Messenger when I tried to tell them. It's the 21stCentury, people! They need to fix their website and make that woman get her hearing checked. Plus, the banquet manager had alldarn week to contact me, but he didn't. If you want to make reservations with someone with at least half a brain, go elsewhere.Their stupidity just cost them hundreds of dollars."

"The Filet was so tender I could cut it with a butter knife. The roasted Brussels Sprouts were flavorful, tender and perfectly cooked. Both of my guests ordered the “Fall Special” a 4 oz filet and a rock lobster tail and the lobster was cooked beautifully and tender. This is THE best steak restaurant in San Antonio and well worth the price."
