"This place is so awesome that even though i moved to Dallas, i still drive back to Allen to get my fix. No other place have i been able to find what Joes has to offer. Their prices are cheaper than most places, serving sizes bigger, and the service is incredible. Everyone has worked there for years and years!! It seems like no one ever quits that job! No wonder, the owner is a cool guy who you can find sitting at the bar, making friends and making small talk with everyone who walks in. "The food at this restaurant is delicious! We began with complimentary bread and dip (which I absolutely loved, especially the crispy exterior and soft interior of the rolls). I ordered stuffed mushrooms (which I forgot to take a picture of before I devoured them). The waiter kindly provided Crayons for my child to color on the sheet, while my husband and I enjoyed lobster ravioli and a baked pasta dish. Our daughter had chicken strips and fries, which looked homemade. Her tea was excellent and the service was fantastic! No complaints here!"

"Very average experience ordering from here. They are best known for their NY style, thin crust pizza. But, they also sell other things, like pepperoni rolls, calzones, and desserts such as cheesecake. The cheesecake is from Junior's in NY, I believe.I ordered the classic, plain cheese calzone. It was decent, nothing special really. The size was fine but I've had better deals. I would have liked it to be baked a little longer for the crisp. Not too doughy though.They use an adequate amount of cheese. It's mostly mozzarella, very little ricotta. The inside is a bit greasier than at most place. No sauce on the inside to keep it from being soggy. The little tomato sauce container served on the side was pretty tasty but cold.All in all, solid option for a calzone but just not impressive in any way. I think their pizza might be better than the calzone. May come back to give that a try."

"We order from this location about every 2 months, admittedly we order through GrubHub so we do understand their could be GrubHub issues.....but GrubHub picked up the pizza provided by the business which came with the correct receipt.....the problem is the $50 pizza (because) of GrubHub prices and additional toppings...showed up as a cheese pizza....we explained the issues to the restaurant and we're met with immediate hostility and no willingness to help rectify the situation that they cause by giving the driver the wrong pizza with the right receipt. They refused to provide contact for the owner upon request or any way to rectify the situation other than telling us it's grubhubs problem...which we can understand but hostility and rudeness were the main issue with no way to fix the situation your cooks caused by either making the wrong pizza or labeling the wrong boxes or putting the pizza in the wronf box.. It was entirely unprofessional (of the manager Bill)....and for the call to end with no resolution for their business mistake.... AND TO BE HUNG UP ON"

"The pizza at this restaurant was quite good! We ordered a half and half pizza, with me choosing cheese and pepperoni on my half for my first visit. My companion opted for a more exotic combination, which I can't remember. We dined in, so the pizza was served piping hot. A tip for next time: let it cool a bit before eating to avoid toppings sliding off, as I learned the hard way! The staff at the counter were friendly. The only downside was the price, as extra toppings cost $1 each and can add up quickly. Despite that, it was a wonderful little spot and I plan on returning again."

"First time going... Nice cozy place, with friendly staff and nice environment. The food was great, no complaints whatsoever. I got the chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was delicious, the toastiness of the bread was on point, the marinera sauce wasgreat, amd the melted mozzarella was on point ????. Also added to our table was the Italian sausage spaghetti ????. It was wellmade with everything you are looking for. Had 2 single slices of pizza, one being a plane pepperoni pizza, and one being theworks , both pizzas were delicious, good on cheese and sauce, the dough and crust had a nice bite to them, with a nice crunch. Great place to check out, for any time of the day, or for a nice date night.."
