"I ordered the Chili Rellenos. I am not a fan of Ranchero sauce so I ask to substitute Chili Con Queso. They put maybe two table spoons on the pepper. The rice was dry and refried beans tasted burnt. They charged me an extra $3:00 for queso. I was extremely disappointed in the quality and price. I would not recommend this establishment. Also on their website this meal is listed at $12,75 however in the restaurant they charge $15.95."

"I love it and review Mexican food. Maria's is the absolute best place I've eaten in DFW since I was here in 2017. This place reminds me of my childhood. The food has a hispanic house cooked meal taste. It reminds me that my father makes meals. The smell of the kitchen also meets home. The Carne Asada Taco is the best steak taco I've eaten. It's a must. My wife got pastor Taco and later had to take more home. That never happens. I definitely recommend steak and pork tacos. We also have the California Style Pommes. Interestingly, these fries also reminded me of the food I grew up on. I was shocked how much I remembered at home. Beans were below average. Rice was average. I can't knock her in it. Horchata was great. I recently ate another place that had bad horchata. That was good. Customer service was exceptional. I absolutely enjoyed the whole experience. I was pleasantly surprised that I found a new #1 Mexican restaurant in the DFW area. I'll give Maria's Mexican restaurant 8.8 out of 10. This place is absolutely phenomenal. You won't regret coming here."

"Well coming in for Dr visit in Memphis TN this is my go to place to eat and I have family here also. This visit was slow and long due to Mgr and one waitress working. Staffing was definitely short people of 4 or more decided to leave wait time 45 mins. Despite that our food was still delicious and enjoyable, tipped waitress accordingly. Hope it gets better the place is worth the wait."

"Poor food quality and poor service. Went with my mother for lunch to grab a soup and enjoy out the chips/salsa, all for the salsa and chicken in the soup to taste funky. My mom then waited over 15 minutes for a refill and to place our orders when the restaurant was practically empty. We ended up paying for the soup and leaving."

"We absolutely loved it! My family and I have been away from home for a week now, we had to evacuate from our home in Brazoria county due to Hurricane Harvey. Our oldest daughter turned 9 this past Saturday and we haven't been able to do anything for her for her birthday so our waitress and many other waiters helped sing her happy birthday and gave her a cake dessert! And to top it off our waitress, Aileen paid for our entire meal. We cried in awe of the selflessness and kind actions everyone showed while we were there! We are so blessed to show our kids how people should treat others, and Aileen topped it tonight!! Thank you so very much!! You have no idea how much you have helped us!!
