"Saturday 11:30 am, the doors about to open and a line has formed waiting. That’s a pretty good sign, I’d say. We got in line at just the right time to make the 1st round of seating. It filled up fast. Wow, the best chicken and dumplings on a chilly day with their famous cornbread. Also shared an “Irish” with my wife. Deli sliced corn beef and Swiss cheese and tomato on a jalapeño cornbread sandwich. What a beautiful combination. Also purchased a whole pie to go for an event the next day, coconut buttermilk. oooh so yummy!"
