"I have officially tried all vegan empanadas here and my favorite by far is the spicy Italian sausage empanada. I am not local, but this empanada alone gives me a compelling reason to move to California. all empanadas come with chimichurri (except the sweet ones) and they should definitely eat their empanada with this sauce. 3 empanadas is a very filling lunch for me, 2 would be good for an breakfast. I also had a chance and tried a sweet empanada the blueberry. I didn't like the texture of it too much, so not to be cheated on the lack of vegan sweet empanadas. they have the best empanada on the menu in their section as vegan. my partner, who is vegetarian, says the mushroom empanada is his favorite from the savory baptism, and the apple from the sweet baptism. he says the pfirsich, the mais and the spinat empanadas are in order, but not as good as the mushroom. That said, I am quite sure that this place generally increases our empanada standards over 1000 kerben. the Butternuss quesh and roasted auberginen vegan empanadas are also solid. the entire atmosphere is very sweet and the service is friendly and welcoming. they also have four different plant milk options hafer, soy, cocose and mandel and the coffee is delicious. at the next visit I will make sure that I stay close to this place, so that I can keep easy access to this empanadas. this is worth going a bit out of the way, especially if they have other things they like in the Berkeley area."
