"German comfort food was good. I have half the pot roast and pork special plate 326 and my wife got the beef burger. We went to Black Friday afternoon, not made reservations, it wasn't crowded, noisy and we didn't have to wait. Our server was great and patient as it was our first time. Beautiful wall paintings on the top half of the ceiling with funny European style designs. I read a lot of bad reviews about service and it was loud and crowded, but that wasn't our experience. I would say that reservations for evenings and special holidays are safe, but I don't know. I don't know that German food is good, but what I ordered was delicious. The red cabbage was surprisingly good with my spit tent and meat. I would say try it at a slower time of the day first instead of a first time in Octoberfest. She also saw a good size gift shop area have."
