"Upon arriving for our reservation, we were informed that there would be a 40-minute wait for our food because it needed to be made fresh. Despite having a reservation, we expected the food to be ready in a reasonable amount of time. Additionally, our tea service was lacking as there was no spoon provided to stir the tea, and we were not offered milk or water for drinking. The food did not taste fresh and the baked goods seemed to be a few days old. Having previously stayed at a St. Regis, we had higher expectations for both the food and service at this restaurant."
