"I ordered six over medium eggs and got six over easy eggs so the waitress took them back. When I got the redone eggs, they were over easy as well and the cook had advised the waitress to tell me that they were over medium. They did take it off my bill after I showed them a diagram of what over easy eggs versus over medium versus over hard eggs look like. It was pretty irritating that I needed to do this. I believe as a cook anywhere it’s pretty fundamental that you know the difference between these three. A positive thing I have to say is that the place is clean and has a pretty good atmosphere"

"First time visiting the new location I ordered the catfish and it became my instant favorite. It's better than my Grandma's and I never thought that would be possible. I am obsessed with the string beans. Actually everything on the menu is DELICIOUS. The staff is amazing, very patient when I'm being indecisive. Every time I try something new I'm pleasantly surprised. The owner told me they pride themselves on making tasty low-sodium food which is so important as I suffer from hypertension. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Great Granns!!! They have a customer for life."

"Went to eat at Bleu Clarinet last night with bubba ‍ first time there and I can gladly say I will definitely be back, the food was exquisite so **** tasty, so much flavor. I'm happy there's finally a soul food place nearby I'm tired of going all the way to queens for it. I got the Authentic Haitian Griot with a side of Mac and cheese, yellow rice and sweet plantains, David got the Chicken Cajun Rasta Pasta, we got the fried Calamari as an appetizer before but we were so hungry I forgot to take a pic before we started eating. But the fried Calamari was bussin bussin and there was this sweet spicy sauce that came with it woowee my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We got so full by the entrees we had to take it home to finish but we got a peach cobbler AND MY LORD ‍ AMEN THAT PEACH COBBLER WAS DOING SOMETHING ELSE FOR ME LIKE MY GOD highly recommended to everyone in the glen cove area and around, the atmosphere is quite nice, there's a bar for people 21+ but either than that the service was great, honestly 10/10 for me. P.S they even have oxtail every now and then so I'll DEFINITELY be back. P.S.S almost forgot to mention, the portions were bigger than expected, actually exceeded my expectations!!!!"

"The food was very good, but unfortunately food service was terrible; drink service was decent however. We waited over an hour for our appetizer (2 dozen wings) and at least another 15 minutes for our entrees (2 Philly cheesesteak sandwiches), all while at least two tables of customers who arrived after us received their orders before us as noted by all members of my party. When we asked the server where our food was around the 45 minute mark, we received an unapologetic, We 're really backed up, and we were asked not to be rude when members of my party were becoming annoyed as the wait dragged on. We were then told at over an hour that the wings would be out in about 3 minutes which turned into double that amount of time. We were ready to pay for our drinks and cancel our food orders, and frankly we should 've done that. Needless to say my friends and I will never eat or drink here again. I heard that this establishment will be under new ownership soon, and I hope the new owners do a better job. I 've already told all my local friends not to bother coming here."
