"What a marvellous find! Was searching for 'Italian ' on Google and this wonderful bistro that serves some halal dishes came up! They have ribeye and cheesy Philly steaks, and some other chicken and beef dishes that use halal ingredients, as labeled in the menu. (Note, it 's partial halal menu as they do serve non-halal items as well, but the owner Ms. Layla Suarez always tries to accommodate for your dietary needs as well as recommend the best dishes suited to your preferences. Incredibly wonderful lady who personally tends to every table to make sure you 're comfortable. Today we had an early dinner (supper? so we went with the sweet potato fries, the chicken stromboli (delicious homemade Italian pastry stuffed with chicken, mushrooms, spinach, and lots of cheese , and the seafood pasta (lots of mussels! . Was surprised with the low prices because the portions were huge! Full of flavour too. Been a while since I 've had this good a pasta dish. The restaurant itself is small but the atmosphere was very cozy and had that eclectic Eurasian-Mediterranean 'at home ' feel. Definitely the place to have a romantic night out. It is also family-/child-friendly. Definitely going to come back for more, and if we 're in town during Thanksgiving we 'll be going for their (halal turkey full course meal."
