"Just ordered our second large cheese pie from this place. Had to confirm the first one wasn't just a fluke. As a native New Yorker, I'm amazed to report that this is 100% authentic New York style pizza. It's not an imitation there's a whole lot of bad pizza out there that claims to be New York style, but I promise you this is the real deal. This tastes just like something you'd get at one of the legit neighborhood places on Long Island or Manhattan. Ultra thin crust with a nice crisp on it. Fresh tasting tomato sauce that you can actually see through the cheese because it's not needlessly overloaded with cheese like most of the wannabe places. A real A+ pizza is all about the balance of the ingredients, and this slice is balanced perfectly. It's just a little mind boggling to me that we chanced upon this hidden gem near our Airbnb on a seemingly random, rural road in NC. Thank you to the man who makes these pizzas (it's just one dude tossing dough behind the counter). This level of quality takes real passion, and you, sir, are a master of your craft!"
