"I don't go to clubs because of the part where you are selected to get in or not, however, I went out because a friend was on the performer of the night's list. We show up and are told the club isn't open yet at about 10:20pm. There is a GA line and a VIP line. The GA line has about 20 people in it, the VIP has about 5. One door man sends us to the VIP line, so I was like great, we made it. The other door man looks at the 3 of us girls in the face and then sends us back to the GA line. My two friends decide to go into the hotel lobby for a drink to not wait in the cold and I'm just going with it, I could have waited or not but based on the other reviews, I'm glad I went in to the hotel lobby where it was warm and I was able to get a drink. By chance, my friend's friend was there, so we were able to enter the club with her. If it weren't for that, I would have rated this a 1 star experience because I really hate waiting and then being denied or hassled once at the front of a line. Not to mention being looked at and not making whatever cut that was. I would have been really annoyed. Now for the experience inside the crowd was great at the start of the night, mixed crowd of all ages, sizes, and colors, so diverse. Around 1am it was all gay black men on a Friday night, so if you are a gay black man, this is where you go! If you don't know anyone there, don't go, it's not that great inside anyway. The disco ball section is kind of underwhelming. Most of the club is just in the dark with tables and square booths."
