"While vacationing in Fairbanks we searched for some local restaurants and Saltys came highly recommended not only by Google but also on Diners, Drive ins and Dives. I cant say we had the best waitress, she seemed annoyed to be waiting on a group our size (8). But the food was still excellent. Triple D was correct mamas meatball sub was excellent and the sandwiches and selection of beers on tap were superb as well. We sat in the bar instead of the restaurant side and enjoyed the ambiance. If you're in Fairbanks and hungry Saltys has an excellent offerings. Literally looking at the menu and the plethora of mimosa options made us start salivating. The California dreamer sandwich with its marinated tomatoes was insanely tasty. They are closed on monday or we would have dined again."
