"Oh, my God. Chef Brian, open one of them in the NW! I showed up here at a visit to Fountain Valley on a working trip. After our training, 10 of us came to Tackle Box at 5:00. Most of us were from the city, but for the handful of locals it was their first time here. I don't know how to explain, but it's kind of; fast-usual-local-fresh-innovative? Lol. You order at the switch and set yourself. There are at least two I've seen, water stations so you can help yourself. After they ordered a drink at the counter, they'll take him to you. The interior is bright and exciting and comfortable. There are some outdoor seating as well as low and high indoor seating. The 10 of us were able to fit on a long high table. We ordered for the table; Chips and salsa (homemade chips and super fresh, bright salsa , grilled half artichoke (not much meat on the leaves, but amazing taste!, wings (crispy, juicy, tender, everything you want in a wing, and baby back ribs (fall from the bone delicate! . I had a hard time to choose what as literally attractive as the whole menu! I finally let myself down on the fried Wels sandwich, Y U M! Perfectly crispy cornmeal roasted catfish, the moist and tasteful, fresh tomatoes and shredded salad, vinegary remoulade, who grabbed a punch!, and soft but somehow also solid bread that kept together all kindness! The homemade chips were awesome, and I am always a fan of supplementing a pickle spear; 10/10 would recommend you try Tackle Box!"
