"Jackson is an up-and-coming food city. There have always been good eats here, and Pig Pint is an example of how the city's food scene is progressing. The set up of the restaurant reminds me of an Austin BBQ restaurant, but the taste is all Mississippi. All pork items are the exceptional choices here. You get good slow cooked meat that is not over glazed with gross, sticky BBQ sauce from a store. They also feature the best beers from New Orleans, Jackson and Memphis on tap."
