"It’s about the FULL EXPERIENCE. I arrived to The Intercontinental into Valet and immediately I was greeted with respect and interest about my evening. We engaged in a brief conversation that led to me handing my keys with joy, from there I walked in the immaculate first floor bathroom consumed with red tile-like walls I’ve never seen. Then, I ascended up to the 70th floor where I was greeted by the security guard whose cheerfulness gave birth to an excitement about this restaurant. Next, I arrive up top and I was seated to the side as my reservation was noted while our table prepared. Generally, all parties must be present to be seated and this particular night waiting times averaged around 30 minutes, even with reservation. Although I waited an extensive amount of time due to the other party not arriving, I was still pleasantly seated with a spectacular overview of the city. I was given the option to turn on the heater given the chill of the L.A. atmosphere 73 stories up! I was served not only by my waiter though also the manager as well. My food was prepared deliciously and presented delicately. I was often refilled water without even asking as I was greeted with profuse “Sir’s” and thanked for my presence. I enjoyed the ambiance and would certainly suggest this restaurant for an evening of simplistic devotion, intimacy, and quietness."
