"Whenever I am in the area, I always make an effort to stop at DVS. Yesterday was no exception, except this time I had my 6 year old and 9 week old with me for lunch. We ordered the strawberry milkshake and the server gave us the extra in a small cup for my son, so we didnt have to share, which made for a very happy kiddo. It was delicious! The server was also kind enough to bring some paper and a pen to occupy my oldest while we waited for our food. I ordered the tofu catfish plate and my son ordered the almond nut butter and jelly sandwich. We didn't have to wait too long for our food. Obviously my 6 year old was not going to eat his food because the crust was still on there. But we shared my plate and he was crazy about it, as was I. When the server came to pick up our plates she asked my son if he didn't like his sandwich, he said he didn't. And she didn't charge us!! I was very impressed with the customer service and will always come back when I'm in Detroit!!"
