"The Pollo en Mole tastes like Chicken Teriyaki. The sauce was broken and odd looking. The chef doesn’t know how to properly make this dish. Not a good place, I tried it because I saw a review saying it’s “the best most authentic mexican food in Salem”. This is not it. Overpriced trash is what they’re serving."

"I go to Taqueria, enjoy their shrimps Tacos, Carne Asada Tacos, Pupusas, Quesadillas, pretty much everything. Staff are friendly and they receive the orders every time I order. "I usually do not complain or leave reviews, but I was disappointed with my experience at this taqueria. I have been a customer at this establishment for many years, but on my last visit, I found the cashier to be impatient and one of the cooks to be rude. To make matters worse, when I got home and opened my nacho order, I discovered that someone had mistakenly put the order receipt on top of my food. I called the next day to speak with the manager or owner about my experience, but was told that they come in late and no specific time was given. Overall, I will not be ordering food from this place again."

"First time eating here. They didn 't hear me come in so it took several minutes for me to be seated. Once that happened though, the waiter was very attentive. The chips and salsa appeared as if by magic. The salsa was particularly good. I ordered a quesadilla for an appetizer and steak fajitas for an entree. Both were really good with the fajitas come out on a smoking hot platter. Once finished I ordered a flat for dessert. That also did not disappoint. Great experience overall. There was one very, very annoying issue during my visit (that I can still here as I 'm writing this). There a worker in the back that is just saying 'Yeeeaaahhhh ' over and over and over again and you can hear it through the entire restaurant. It can be very tough to concentrate on your food when you hear that constantly. But...other than that, ill be back."

"Never been disappointed. Good quality, authentic Mexican food. I would recommend the chilaquiles. A wide variety of seafood as well. Service has always been good. I was there with a large party and didn't realize they included a gratuity. I signed for my usual 20%. Later looked at my receipts and bank account only to find they did not charge me for the second tip."

"The service was excellent, Danny is cool AF and was very attentive. I asked the fish Tacos with crispy shells replacement, he was courteous and answered all my stupid questions about the menu, as it was my first time there. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food. The portion servings especially the ?? ? chicken cheese tacos are plenty and my husband of near 300 lbs gets overfilled with all-u-can-serve chips and salsa w/ one not 2 , but 1 ? ? ? served w/the delicious house Refried Beans and Rice, costing under $20 per person in general. On this particular date 1/31/21 , in addition we had order 4 chicken ? cheese ? tacos ?, beans, rice, chips and salsa. To see what I am talking about see photo the tray of tacos is that of 4 tacos. Highly, Highly Recommended for folks in and outside of Orange County that enjoy Great Tasting Mexican Food, AND for a Great Price!!"

"Great Mexican Food and Resonably Priced!. The first time I tried this place was luck. It was after 9 pm on a Friday and I wanted some good salsa and a torta. I remembered seeing a guy on the corner of Bullard and Figarden twirling a sign advertizing Los Gallos Taqueria. I did not even realize it was there before I had seen the guy with the sign. (I guess their advertizing is working. So, it was late and I got there and there was a woman sweeping out side and bringing the patio furniture inside. I thought we were too late, but I decided to ask if they were closed. The sign on the door said they closed at 10 PM, but the place was empty. The woman told us to come on in. I was glad she was willing to serve us, but surprised. Everything on the menu sounded good, but I'm very pickly about my mexican food. The two things that make or break a taqueria for me are the Salsa and the Carne Asada Tortas. I ordered the Carne Asada Torta with everything on it and asked for extra salsa my friend ordered a Super Burrito with everything including extra salsa. We took the order to go. Once we got home, we opened the bag and looked at our food and were pleasantly surprised. My friend's Burrito was HUGE and so was my Torta. But once we tasted our food, we were blown away. Everything was delicious! The Salsa was so well balanced and flavorful I could have drank it. Not only was it tastey, it was also spicy. We liked the food so much, we decided to go back the next day for lunch. <br/ <br/ The Taqueria has a bar with home made taco salad shells and Chili Rellenos and some of thiere other meats. I saw the Rellenos and new I had to try them. My friend tried the Taco salad and I had a Chili Rellenos and a Carne Asada Sopas. I had never tried a Sapas before and since I didn't think the Relleno would feel me up, I decided to try one. I figured it was like a taco and wouldn't feel me up. My friends Taco salad was so big he could not finish it. (This almost never happens. I got my Relleno and Sopas and much to my surprise the Sopas was piled with Carne Asada. I barely finished all of my food. I forced it down because it tasted so good. Our total bill with a large soda (that we shared was less than $11. <br/ <br/ A few weeks later I took my daughter there to try thier Pasole. She likes Pasole, but like me loves a good Torta. She got the Torta and I got the Pasole. Just as I expected, it was great! Everytime I have eaten there I have left satisfied. I have also tried thiere Breakfast Burrito with bacon and LOVED IT! I definitely recommend this to everyone. It is so much better than the mexican food in the Shell Gas Station across the street. It's delicous, it's inexpensive and it's local. Oh yes, and the service has been great everytime I've been there."

"The Chimichangas and Arroz con Pollo Vegetables was delicious as always. the Arroz con Pollo Vegetables came on a nice fluffy bed of rice and the veggies being rough chopped made it so easy to eat on the flour tortillas given, it was filling and tasty. The Chimichangas were crispy and hot going well with the beans, also nice that the toppings are on the side."
